CROPRISING: BAD GARDENERS & GOOD WEEDS – A GUIDE is an art book created in collaboration with Hana Korneti and Dimitar Samardziev, inspired by real and imagined experiences in Skopje’s first community garden - BOSTANIE. This work highlights the garden as a symbol of resistance and challenges human-centered narratives, combining non-fiction, practical guides, and speculative stories gathered through research and conversations with gardeners.
Hana and Dimitar authored the content, while I developed the book's visual identity. I crafted illustrations that bring the themes to life and designed the book's overall aesthetics.
This project was developed in partnership with PrivatePrint [an art book publishing house from Skopje, N. Macedonia], and was sponsored by the Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development.
