Ivana Chaloska is an interdisciplinary researcher engaging with more-than-human, speculative, and conceptual perspectives in Art, Design, and HCI. Her research investigates experimental and abstract parameters of tactility, human+nonhuman co-creation, and ideologies of 'beyond-human' affordances. Ivana's work extends to Visual Design and Illustration, where she embodies diverse narratives through detailed investigation, nuanced imagination, and melancholic aesthetics.
Ivana was born in 1992 in Ohrid, North Macedonia. She holds a BSc in Architecture and an MSc in Industrial Design. In 2021, she was awarded the Japanese Government MEXT Scholarship and continued her studies at Keio University’s Graduate School of Media Design in Yokohama, Japan. There, she completed an MA in Media Design and is now pursuing a Ph.D.
